I Gave It One Prompt. It Built the Campaign, Found the Leads, and Started Sending.

I want to be specific about what happened, because the phrase “AI does the work” is getting so overused it’s lost all meaning.

This is not “AI-assisted.” This is not “AI-powered.” This is what actually happened when I used Sandbox to run our own GTM motion for Sandbox.

We dogfooded it. Here’s the exact sequence of events.

The Prompt

Input — what I typed “Build a cold outreach campaign targeting serial entrepreneurs and small business operators at companies with 5–50 employees. They’re doing their own GTM. Value prop: prompt in, working business output. Find leads, write a 6-email sequence, launch the campaign.”

That was it. No brief. No template. No SDR to brief. No copywriter to hire.

What happened next is why we built this.

What Sandbox Did (In Order)

Step 1 — Prospect Discovery
Scanned Apollo for 700+ matching contacts

Filtered by job title (founder, CEO, managing director), company size (5–50 employees), and seniority. Deduplicated against existing contacts. Saved to the project database.

Step 2 — Sequence Writing
Wrote 6 email sequences from scratch

Each sequence tied to a different angle: capacity problem, pipeline math, tool-stack trap, social proof (our own dogfood stats), re-engagement, and a direct ask. Different subject lines, different hooks, same ICP.

Step 3 — Campaign Configuration
Set schedule, delays, and daily send limits

Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm PT. Max 30 sends/day. 5-day delay between sequences. Configured to stop on reply. No manual steps.

Step 4 — Launch
Campaign went live. Emails started sending.

Not “ready to send.” Not “staged for review.” Sending.

Step 5 — Ongoing content distribution
Published 92 blog posts to a live domain

Each email sequence links to a corresponding blog post. The blog posts were also written and deployed by Sandbox — same prompt-driven loop, different output channel.

The Numbers (Live Campaign, Right Now)

Leads in campaign
700+
Open rate
58–62%
Email sequences written
50+
Blog posts published
92

The campaign is still running. New sequences get added automatically. New blog posts go live on each run. The GTM motion is continuous, not a one-time sprint.

What This Actually Means for You

If you’re a serial entrepreneur running a second or third business, or a founder who’s tried every productivity tool and still can’t seem to get consistent outreach done — this is the thing that changes the equation.

Not because it makes you faster at the work. Because it does the work.

The distinction is important. Speed tools (Notion AI, Copilot, ChatGPT) help you write faster. Sandbox executes the business workflow end-to-end. Prospect discovery to sent email is not a writing task. It’s a judgment + execution task. Sandbox handles the execution. You supply the judgment (once, at the start).

Before and After

Before Sandbox
  • 4–6 hours to research and build a prospect list
  • 2–3 hours to write a 4-email sequence
  • SDR or founder time to configure and launch
  • Blog posts and LinkedIn content: separate workstream, separate contractor
  • Inconsistent. Runs when you have time.
After Sandbox
  • One prompt. 700+ prospects sourced and imported.
  • 6 sequences written and scheduled before the coffee was done
  • Campaign live in the same session
  • 92 blog posts deployed to a live domain, automatically
  • Runs every day. Not when you have time.

What You Still Do

You decide who the ICP is. You approve the value prop. You take the demo call when a prospect replies.

That’s it. The execution layer — research, write, configure, send, publish — runs without you.

This is the difference between using AI to help you do the work and using Sandbox to replace the work.
